Albergo Adelia review:

Albergo Adelia is a Dolomites hotel offering exceptional service, excellent value for money and fabulous mountain views, near Belluno and Calalzo di Cadore.

Who goes? Weary travellers who will appreciate a private room and a shower, walking or skiing enthusiasts looking for a cheap deal, or couples looking for a holiday in a unique location.

Location Albergo Adelia sits just off the main high street in the mountain village of Domegge di Cadore. It’s a 10-minute drive from Calalzo di Cadore, which is connected by a bus and rail service to the main town of Belluno. There are walking routes and ski slopes nearby. The fresh mountain air and incredible views of the Dolomites make this a haven for travellers. Domegge di Cadore takes visitors back to a simpler and greener time.
Value for money Double rooms from €30 (£24), including breakfast. The beauty of this hotel is that it is extremely good value for money.

Service Excellent. This family-run hotel is owned by an adorable couple, Renato and his charming wife, who provided service with a smile throughout my stay. They also have a natural ability to wait on your every need without being overbearing. The language barrier did prove difficult at times but was remedied with the use of Google translate. Life is breathed into the hotel through their kindness and unwavering helpfulness.

Rooms The 17 bedrooms are functional and basic. All have en-suite bathroom, television, plenty of storage space and telephone. Power showers have recently been introduced.
